Well worth a visit, they have a lift to the other level. Loads of displays and visuals shoing the story of the First World War. Gives a greater understanding of the battle fields. On the Ground Flood level there is an excellent cafe and shop.

Included with the ' In Flanders Fields' museum ticket, it's in a hall of a former almshouse. Flemish paintings, various ecclesiastical garments and household items. Quiet and quaint

Such an informative museum. You can lose so many hours walking around and reading all the history. A well worth visit!

We came to this little diamond quite by chance. The cost of entry is just a few euros but it is worth the price for the materials on show inside. They have different Bishop seals going back to the 1300s and the rest of the...More

Originally founded as an alm house, a place of refuge for the poor, the building is now a museum. Unfortunately you won't find much information on the activities of the alm house or the poor. The museum is really a haphazard collection of paintings and...More

The museum is actually a casual collection of art that has been collected by the social welfare office through the ages. You will see splendid late medieval paintings that deserve to be shared with a wider audience. Some Enlightenment period paintings, as well as old...More

I was fortunate to discover the Museum Godshuis Belle on my very first visit to Ypres, and it is now the first place that I seek out whenever I return. Conveniently located within less than five minutes walk of the Grote Markt, with a modest...More

Having visited Flanders museum we were given a leaflet which allowed us free entry to this museum, well worth a visit. A very beautiful little chapel which contained lots of art and interesting furniture, stunning to look at, we spent a good hour looking round.
