We only had a short time to visit this Cathedral but were so impressed with the lovely stained glass windows. A very large Cathedral with interesting modern statues. Well worth a visit.

Located adjacent to the Museum, this Cathedral is not to be missed. Behind the alter is the Sacra-Chapel where tombs and tombstones dating back to the 1300’s reside. Stained glass above the side door is amazing; there are various other antiquities around the church.

Apart from being the wonderful usual European Cathedral is also a very touching and emotional place that reminds of the war.

A stunning cathedral which is maintained in superb condition. Located in the centre of Ypres. Lovely piece of sculpture in centre of church. Said a prayer and lit a candle for my parents. Also remembered the thousands buried in nearby WW1 cemeteries.

After visiting the graveyard of Tyne Cot the remembrance service and concert exceeded all Expectations . The talent displayed was extreme in particular the Native Canadian dancer, not a beat wrong. War is a waste,!!!
