A stunning cathedral which is maintained in superb condition. Located in the centre of Ypres. Lovely piece of sculpture in centre of church. Said a prayer and lit a candle for my parents. Also remembered the thousands buried in nearby WW1 cemeteries.

After visiting the graveyard of Tyne Cot the remembrance service and concert exceeded all Expectations . The talent displayed was extreme in particular the Native Canadian dancer, not a beat wrong. War is a waste,!!!

The cargedral is huge and very high, most impressive but quite simple inside, stunning how well it has been rebuilt after rthe destruction of war. Its not busy and is so well worth a visit.

A most wonderful Cathedral. The stained glass windows are beautiful. There is also part where there is an excellent exhibition of writings and memorabilia giving an insight of what it must have been like in those terrible times.

Sadly the restored cathedral did not show the finesse of medieval cathedrals but it must have been very costly. Good exhibits and video clips of the war.

In October 2017 a great exhibition on Belgian Army Chaplains was on display. The display boards are in 3 languages including English.
