This was on the tourist map, so we went along to see it. It's just a gate to a small park. Not sure of its significance, other than to celebrate a battle !

The only "merit" of the gate is that it is the gate of the park where there is the Groeninge-momument. The gate is of the same period as the monument (1860ties).

If you happen to be walking around and see it fine. Don't go out of your way... pretty dull. I am surpized it is so survived.
