The lace makers are incredible and their art is really also a science. The counting, their hands moving so quickly to design true works of art. I saw an old woman doing her lacemaking right in her doorway. Amazing!

I purchased an antique piece of lace from a helpful, obviously knowledgeable lady in this shop. Would love to have bought more, but the real item doesn't come cheap!

We were well educated in this place and we walked out with a lot more knowledge , we ended up buying other stuff in here but was well worth the visit .

We stopped to learn about the lost art of hand-making lace and could hardly tear ourselves away. I purchased a handbag and my husband found a tapestry he 'needed'. We haven't been sorry.

Very pretty and the same time "mind broadening" boutique! I have a feeling that during my visit I've got some important knowledge on Belgian "art de vie"! The shop assistants were so nice to show how the lace is made - there was a live...More
