A typical Belgian morning snack of chocolate and waffles (except that they do not put chocolate on waffles) with coffee at this delightful cafe. Perfect. Located close to the Grote Markt, this shop prides itself in good service and fine chocolate. It delivers on both....More

We heard about Pol Depla, Chocolatier on the Belgian television yesterday morning and decided to visit as they make all of their chocolate from the cocoa beans themselves (they import these by sailing boat as it’s more environmentally friendly). We bought some chocolates and then...More

The smell of these waffles will live forever in your memory. Led to this shop by your nose, stomach rumbling you are obliged to buy and gorge the most yummy waffles. Unless you try, then you will never believe.

I've just finished my waffle here. I'm still sitting at the counter. I'm never leaving. I live here now, sustained by waffles that are crispy at the edges and pillowy inside, covered in amazing dark chocolate and thick, rich cream. This is my home.

One of the best waffles I've ever eaten. The service was super nice and prompt. Short walk from the Markt makes it a nice place to get put of the way but not go very far.

I landed here because of the smell. It was amazing . . . that and the chimp carved out of chocolate in the front window. After choosing an amazing assortment of chocolates to take home, I learned that out of the 70 plus chocolate shops...More

There are a ton of chocolate shops in Bruges to choose from. We stopped by a few and we thought that this was the best in the area.

Stopped in on a cold, wet morning and had waffles, coffee, and chocolate. Everything was great especially the waffles while the service was exceptional. We were greeted when we walked in and left while very helpful while ordering.
