Nothing really special here to see, its a big square with some statues and a fountain. Its getting renovated now so its more a construction site. Alot of places here to eat something or have a drink...mostly for tourists so dont expect fine dining around here. There is also a big flee and antique market here mostly in summermonths..in 2017... We (my son and I) were here for 4 days at the end of July last year, thoroughly enjoyed our stay , so much that we are returning next weekend. Plenty to do, the Saturday market is great. Plenty of eating and drinking establishments.I love that the carpark under t'zand actually show you where there are spaces, so civilised.

found on a walk , it runs parallel to the shopping high street when you approach a large square , plenty of restaurants on one side and i believe we found a little cu through as well .

The square is currently being dug up and the fountain relocated (so we were told) so it looks a bit of a mess at the moment. The Saturday morning market is still there, which is well worth a visit as it not particularly a tourist market, more stalls for the locals. Check out the food stalls!

We found this fountain by accident wandering around the city after eating dinner. I had to take pictures than I had to come back in the day light and take more. I think this fountain is really beautiful. Hope you enjoy my pictures.

Large open space - road and car park now go on Nader this. A number of cafes on the eastern side. Currently full time f diggers as the city fathers prepare for the summer invasion so nowt pleasant about their mess.

We went to Bruges to meet with hubby's niece last autumn and she showed us around the very awesome and historic place. The T' Zand was one of the beautiful places we went. The four female bronze statues represent the Flemish cities of Bruges, Antwerp, Ghent and Kortrijk. Very interesting place that represents their local culture. We also walk to... More

Discovered by accident on New Years Eve 2014, and have returned each New Years since. Great atmosphere, stage with live music, countdown and then a fab firework display.

I loved the whole idea, it was pretty much weird at first, seeing all of those statues surrounded by water and fountains, but it was great. Especially being located at the entrance of the market.
