If you want a quick historical idea about Bruges this is perfect. The visual guide is fun just shorter than it says. Also great view from upstairs.

We went there because I want to see central Brugge from the top. And very nice they have Duvel Bar on the 2nd floor with many choice of another beer, we really enjoyed sitting watching people with beer in our hand. Staff very informative with us. When we wanted to leave we also took a picture in the chair like... More

This is not your average museum. Dont want to give too much away but you are taken back in time and follow a story with the aid of some technology. We had a beer and a bite to eat in the cafe which was really good. Dont be afraid to try Cheese with mustard!

A very affordable and enjoyable virtual reality experience, showcasing Bruges during medieval times. The equipment is good quality, making the experience realistic even though you're sitting in the booth. I would definitely recommend this even if you're not a fan of history, because it's still very interesting to see!

In the historium you're taken through different rooms and floors, while you are 'experiencing' a day in Brugge of 1435. Everything was done really well and they have many languages to choose from. The highlight was of course the virtual reality! Don't give up on that when buying the ticket. Really cool!

Not the cheapest of attractions if you are paying for a family, but a great experience for all ages. A walk through exhibition of what life in Brugge was like 600 years ago, with a digitally supported visual and audio narrative - followed by a virtual reality trip into the centre of Brugge as it would have been then, on... This is a very nice exibition of how life was during the Middle Ages, Jacob takes you on a tour through the city and shows you how life was back then. Very nice is the VR experience that comes with it and also the Duvel bar that you have to pay a visit too.
