Translates to old St. Johns site, which was a hospital called St. Johns in the 18th century right up to 1976 when it was closed down. The site is now a conference and exhibition centre and has many amazing collections to veiw.

Having walked past Oud Sint- Jan several times, I decided to investigate and was so pleased to learn that the newly reopened Expo Centre was showing a selection of Picasso's work. The building and grounds are lovely. Had it not been such a cold day,...More

The range and quality of Picasso sketches & paintings was fantastic. I'm afraid Miro escaped me as I thought his paintings were reminiscent of the playgroup. Better labelling may have helped my lack of interpretation.

I have manly seen Picasso paintings and sculptures in the past so it was good to see another side of his work. The most interesting part was the collaboration he had with a young photographer.

We came here to visit the 'Picasso', 'Miro' and 'Da Vinci' exhibitions. You pay per attraction so for all three it was 17 EUR each. The attractions were interesting with some works I had not seen before but the Miro and Da Vinci areas were...More

One of the most exceptional museums I've ever been to. An incredible collection of Picasso's work throughout his entire life, contemporary artists, and a beautiful courtyard in the centre. The Dali and Da Vinci exhibits were also exceptional, however they were limited so they may...More

Not to be missed. From Tuesday to Saturday 3: 5: 6.30pm listen to luc vanlaere a famous harpist. It's a brilliant 40/50 minutes listening to a very talented musician. Luc plays a variety of harps. The concert harp, Celtic harp but also Chinese, Japanese harps...More

All three in one day makes for some real exhaustion, but -in general- worth it (not with kids!). I would split it into two visits. Picasso was brilliant, Miro lesser, and daVinci was very very good commentary and fantastic models of inventions, not so much...More
