This is a very scenic and romantic place to sit down and relax and see the swans swim by. Or just go for a stroll.

Great place for a gentle stroll and the main haunt of local swans. Can be appreciated at any time of day/night and safe to walk around for the visitor.

By the most romantic place in this lovely town. This is a small lake with ducks and swans. It's a lovely sight. There is a pedestrian and cycle bridge across the river and a small jogging track around it. Great place to spend some time....More

We had a lovely couple of hours here last Sunday before returning back home. It was a sunny day and we had drinks at a place by the lake.

Every city should have a place like this, so peaceful calm and beautiful. If walking from the P & O ferry stop you should pass alongside the lake on your way into the city, but on evenings it is truly magical.
