The lake is beautiful! You must visit this lake when in Bruges. Perfect for some photos! There are traditional tea rooms along the walk to the lake that sell amazing hot chocolate and cupcakes.

The whole of this park is great for walking around - steady paths throughout for a leisurely post lunch meander.

This is an amazing quiet place and has beautiful swans and atmosphere. If possible take the boat to visit here and if it is open there are gardens and grounds where the nuns still live to visit.

Great for a good stroll only minutes from the city center, and easy access to Love Lake that has various restaurants/bars.

great place to stroll about in good weather. No bustle here but plenty of shrubbery and canalside walks. Good maps along the walking routes make sure that you don't get lost.

On a crisp cold day we walked along the frozen lake to the bridge at the end that provides a good view of the town behind. Quieter than the rest of the town and en route to the station.

This is a lovely spot to stop on a walk around town. That's the big attraction in Bruges--the town as a whole--and this is a lovely part of it. Work your way north back toward the center from here and you'll hit the Memling Museum.
