I was a little disappointed with the Minnewater as the story is so beautiful I’m not really sure what I was expecting but it’s just a bridge, the view from one side is over a part of the canal which is quite pretty, but the...More

Took a walk through the park, just to get away from the crowds for a while. Although it was a cold and damp day, it is still a lovely place to spend an hour or two.

Do detour through this park on the way back from old Bruges to the train station. The park is beautiful, peaceful, with a lovely bridge and a picture-perfect lake. The wide alleys invite rambling and would probably be great to ride a bike through.

Located between the Begijnhof and the station on the canal system, this is a scenic and peaceful oasis of calm between the other more bustling parts of Bruges. There are a number of cafes and bars in close proximity.
