Had a beer on the edge at the restaurant in the picture. It was a wonderful break for the feet after a long day walking.

One of the main routes into Brugge. Very picturesque but busy with tourists and tours walking in from the coach and station area. The lake feels more like part of the canal. Great photos across the lake on good weather days and early evenings with...More

Heavenly lake with clear water that reflects the trees, sky, and little bridges. Home to countless swans that swim, dive, and dance on the water make for a magical experience!

Stunning lake and parkland, just a few minutes walk from the market place. Beautifully kept, a must see - if in Bruges

Looks fantastic, the bar on the other side was superb. Good beer selection and very generous spirit measures. Great to sit there and take in the view.

Lovely lake! Beautiful on a sunny day! A walking tour took us past here and we were told a story of how the lake got it's name.

I'm going to bruges for a day and I'd like to know what's best to do in such short time? We'll be staying in a hotel very near to bruges station so how far are the walks and also how do we get to this lake? We will be doing the boat tour hopefully but we would also like to visit this lake. Thank you
