This church has quite a lot of traffic in front of its main door. It has no parking for cars. However, the first thing I saw attracted my focus: Statues about the crucifixion of Christ. It was well demonstrated. We entered the church and saw amazing Biblical paintings, all over the church. I enjoyed taking pictures of most of its... More

If you have the time this has beautiful architecture and some lovely art inside. There are numerous oak carvings and a very special exhibition to see.

An intesting church full of minor Old Masters. Built with bricks like most of the churches in Bruges, the interior is a bit Gothic. The paintings are pretty interesting for art lovers though not well lit.

only ten minutes from the main square, this church provides some history, culture and some peace and quiet if you have had enough of the crowds of visitors..... great art work, and enough information to assist those choosing to visit this peaceful place

The treasury was closed and the main hall was somewhat closed off. However the architecture is beautiful and the ambient music makes for a nice touch. Wouldn't have paid for entry though.

In an almost indistinctive building the art-loving traveler discovers a rich collection of genre paintings and tryptichs, superb ornamentations, exquisite architectural elements and a peaceful, dignified atmosphere inviting to reflection and if so inclined prayer.

This is a beautiful church with many unique attractions. A tower that is truly amazing. Would have scored 5* if there had been a guide to show us around. But certainly worth a visit.

This church was so beautiful. Every corner revealed something new and interesting. I really wished we had had a patron available to give us some history here.

This church has a different tower compared with the others in Brugge, and it is really beautiful. At night with the lighting system becomes even more nice to the eyes.

Beautiful gothic church built around 1240, with high vaulted ceilings, carved stone columns and marble balustrades. The carved wood pulpit and confessionals are something to admire and the medieval artwork is breath-taking, as are the elaborately designed stained glass windows. The garden presents a marble and wood depiction of the crucifixion and Mary's. Well worth a visit, just for the... More
