What more can I say?! One enjoys all the other sculptures and then sees this one, and the comparison illustrates the work of a superb artist.

It's difficult to give this church a fair review, since it is undergoing extensive renovations and large sections of the interior are not accessible. Don't go just to see the Michelangelo Madonna & Child -- it's quite small and set way back on an altar,...More

We stopped by this cathedral mainly to see the Madonna and Child sculpture done by Michelangelo. If that was the only thing we saw there, it would have totally been worth it. The rest of the church was pretty amazing too, there is however some...More

I think you have to pay if you want to see the Madonna by michaelangelo but i think it is free if you want to enter the church and not see the madonna.

Same as other replies the renovations are taking place around it.
The church is under renovation so parts of it are not open. But you can see the Madonna in their museum. From the BRUGGE web site: Tickets for the museum section are on sale in the south transept until 4.30 p.m. Monday 09:30 am - 17:00 pm Tuesday 09:30 am - 17:00 pm Wednesday 09:30 am - 17:00 pm Thursday 09:30 am - 17:00 pm Friday 09:30 am - 17:00 pm Saturday 09:30 am - 17:00 pm Sunday 13:30 pm - 17:00 pm
