Go early to avoid the queues as the staircase to the top is very narrow in places and they control numbers very strictly for safety. A good climb with some interesting side rooms every now and then and wonderful views from the top.

The owner of our hotel recommended this as the top place to go, but warned us not to wait in line as it moves very slowly. Yesterday afternoon there was a queue so we did not wait, but went back this morning soon after it...More

We had to queue for about 25 mins as there is a limit on the number of people they let in at one time. It was worth the wait though. The views from the top are wonderful on a bright day. And there are some...More

Beautiful place to start your tour of the city. 366 steps to the top and there are a couple levels to stop and rest if needed. The view is amazing and it might help you to catch your bearings. They only allow a limited number...More

An interesting museum, where you get to climb the stairs to the top, around 20 flights, some quite narrow and twisting. A marvellous view over amazing Bruges and surrounding countryside. Intermediate stops contain interesting displays and you can see and hear the bells.

So we fully expect stairs right?! They get smaller and scarier lol just a heads up! Starts off with nice big stairs but further you get up the smaller it gets and more uncomfortable when people are trying to pass each other on the stairs.

You have to visit this when you visit Bruges, it is a beautiful tower, which has 366 steps to climb, WOW !!! Colin Farrel starred in the movie Bruges, the view is absolutely magnificent, and the bell chiming is music to you ears.

So we solely went to take the stairs up to see the top. It was expensive when we compare it to the other activities In Ghent for the same price. The information was on an app you had to download. And we really were only...More

Well worth the climb up the 366 steps but you would need to be fairly fit to get up the narrow steps on the last ascent. You can have a break on the first few parts of the tower but the last bit takes a...More

Did not expect this to be so good. Have you watched the film? Do so. This is a great thing to do and the view is excellent. The mechanism for the bell chime is brilliant. Be there on the hour, it’s great. However, Harry never...More

After the ticket hall there are (I think) 4 stretches of steps before you reach the top. The third stretch (up to the carillon mechanism) is the longest stretch and it’s about 150 steps. The final stretch between the... More
