Quickly called in yesterday while on a day trip to Bruges. Very stunning and calming place to visit.

I don't know if it is really the blood of Christ but the experience is cool. You enter and go up some stairs. It wasn't very crowded. You enter a church. There is a short line and you wait to go up and see it....More

Beautiful building for a short visit - you don't need long. Check the times that the relic is on display.

Bruges is such a beautiful city with amazing and friendly residents. This did not disappoint and added to the amazing visit. This is a good stop to gather your thoughts and gain some peace and spirituality

Beautiful building which dominates in Central Square. Although in October the area was full of tourists. Caution in Parking. Better to visit from Brussels by train

From the outside, you can be forgiven for missing this place altogether, as the entrance is tucked away in the corner of the square. Free entry is always good, and there was the opportunity to "donate" 1 euro to see the relic that is the...More

The basilica is richly decorated on the outside and inside, and is freely accessible (though I read otherwise on Tripadvisor). The treasury is worth a visit. It is 2.50 euros for only one room. Not the standard church equipment, but historic items like the horn...More

THIS is the place of REAL Indiana Jones lore! I mean this place is the place a lot of those mysteries were derived from, people sinking into the floors, with real life drama! Hitler tried to find the "Blood of Christ" and here it is...More

The building from outside is very beautiful and unique in a way. Inside is more simple than you expected. There is also a small museum for 2 euros.

Definitely no flash allowed and as far as I could tell you would not be able to take any photos at all of the holy vial itself
