A small group tour from the Tourist Information Office with a knowledgeable and friendly guide. I was only in Bruges for a day and these two hours were totally worthwhile. A German couple on the tour said they were visiting Bruges because of the film In Bruges. I have subsequently watched the DVD and can see why it has a,... More

Our guide talked about the history and relevance of each spot as we progressed around this compact, but awesome little city. She was wonderful and the tour covered pretty much everything you need to know about the city in just a couple of hours. She also gave us tips on where to eat for lunch. My favourite part was the... Mike introduces Bruges with his comical sense of humour - 50% facts and 50% lies. I liked his recommendations for food, biking and selection of museums. Although I don't think the Historium Brugge was worth the money. The anecdote to Königin Astrid was funny. The pointer to chocolate delivered to the King was fantastic! The fries at the Markt Square... More

Our guide Jan took a huge group of us round the city on an interesting tour. He was passionate about the history of the city and gave us a tour which lasted nearly two and a half hours. He did well to keep the group together, make himself heard and keep us all interested. He was very clearly spoken and... More

I have taken free tours in several European cities including Prague, Nuremberg and Paris. Bruges is a very walkable city, and easily accessible on foot everywhere. The Venice of the North, the surrounding beauty disappears if you are pressed for time. I was here for less than 8 hours and out of which 4 hours went for this free tour.... More

Bruges is an amazing city and fairly easy to walk around but at the same time has a vast amount of history to go with so having an expert local knowledge is a must. Our guide was a delightful character who was a credit to Bruges.
