    Really beautiful.
It is definitely worth it to wander down graffiti street and see all the beautiful artwork. The designs are colorful and vary so much with artistic license/interpretation. As it changes periodically, you can always find something new.

    Wall Art
It's not very long, basically one block. Lots of wall art, lots of pieces that have been partially painted over, so it's a mish-mash. Hard to get a good take on any one effort. Attracts a lot of people. Near the center.

Would not go out of the way to visit but it is an interesting street with some good art pieces
I wouldn't go out of my way to find the street. However, I had read about it and we happened to come across the street. There was a mix of good and not so good art pieces. I think what is more interesting is whether the street achieved one of its intention - which is to give people a legitimate place to draw their graffiti. We were lucky as when we were there, there was a guy finishing off his elaborate painting of a huge dragon. We asked him how long he has taken and he said many days.

This is just a street for locals to have fun with paint. Don't expect real art and please don't crowd this place by taking selfies. Last time I was here it was super annoying to see how the nice vibe was just gone by groups of tourists taking up the space. It used to be chill and laid back but now it's more and more monkeys with camera's. Please read the room. Cheers, a local.

I found the Graffiti Street to be very interesting. Our city tour leader said that budding artists often start here. The city makes this space accessible to graffiti artists, so that hopefully they won't do it elsewhere. When we were in Ghent there was a very controversial court case going on related to a young man being killed through a hazing ritual. The young men doing the hazing were from wealthy and influential parents, so it was perceived that they got preferential treatment. Even though they were legally adults, there was a gag order on their names. On our walk through the graffiti street we found one piece that named all of the perpetrators in protest. Within an hour, someone had whitewashed the names. SO - this place is also designed for political demonstrations and protests.

Interesting to stop by, but easy to quickly walk through. Enjoyed seeing the street art but not sure I would make a separate visit if not already in the area.

Werregarenstraat, or the Graffiti Street as commonly called, is the place to demonstrate Ghent's vitality and creativity. The narrow alley is all dedicated to graffiti with chaotic but harmonic sprays and paintings all around every corner. The effort to promote street art deserves praises.

Creative and vibrant alleyway. It is free to visit and walk down. Recommend checking it out if you are in the area. Good photo opportunities too.

An alley that has been decorated over and over with very colorful art work. It's all mixed up, images do not stand out. The main thing one notices is the brightness of the colors. It is short and you are through it in a minute. OK, but not the best street art.
