One of the must sees in Ghent. The pictures say it all, but you have to be there to feel the tenements with towers leaning from behind.

No doubt that the bridge is the perfect spot and offers great views of this beautiful city. From the bridge you have clear views of city, tower and the canal. It's looks amazing during the evening with lights.

Nothing significant or spectacular about the bridge. However, this is just the best place to get postcard picture perfect photos. From the end of the bridge you get to see St Nicolas, the Belfry and St Bavos. Not to mention a clear shot of St...More

Just stand and soak up the atmosphere. Beautiful buildings, water craft, such a wonderful spot to view the best of Ghent.

Popular photographed place so we needed to take one. Best taken early in the morning with a passing river boat tour. A Ghent picture postcard shot.

Can be a bit dirty at time (especially in the morning after people were out the previous night) but gets cleaned fairly often. Great views during the day, but especially lovely views at sunrise and sunset.

St Michaels bridge is a beauty......it's perfectly positioned and it probably has some of the best photo opportunities.....or just go up and watch the boats come pass......everywhere you turn there's another memory

Here it is. A very picturesque and homogenous area: Cosy restaurant from Chinese to haute cuisine, people having a beer at the curb and elegant dinners returning from a concert, tourist spots, everything. The place to be in Ghent...

I just came back from Amsterdam yesterday! The quickest way is to take the Express train to Brussels and change to Ghent,I suppose. Better have a look on the railways's site good luck,
