St. Michael's Bridge is at the heart of Ghent in the historic city centre, lots of picture taking opportunities. Picnic on a bench within view and just people watch. Walk along the River Leie and take in the many shops, restaurants and buildings.
We crossed this bridge multiples times during our stay in Ghent and found a different type of people there on different days and times of the day. One can photo up and down the street, and up and down the canal.
Because the traffic on this bridge is reduce you can take lots of beautiful pictures and also look at the beautiful gingerbread like houses. It is a place that can't be and shouldn't be missed if visiting Ghent.
