From the outside, the museum doesn't look like a place for contemporary art, it rather has the charm of an old World Exhibit place. From the inside though, it contains a very interesting ensemble of spaces that seem to offer endless posibilities for displaying all...More

We came for the Richter exhibition, which was good but not excellent, and the rest of the museum was disappointingly small but also "just good"

We came for the photography exposition, but found it a bit disappointing. The lighting was not always good. The permanent collection has some highlights, but there’s no arguing about (modern) art.

Somebody tries to be interesting with supercool and modern art, which means at least 5 black or gray images, simple patterns like from computer etc. Doesn't worth to spend money

This was a really interesting gallery. The art was set out quite sparsely with three or four pieces per room which gave the place an interesting vibe. The first floor was closed but they gave us a discount. Definitely worth it for €6.

Right next door to the fine arts museum, so you can do both at one go. Excellent cafe serving hot and cold lunches, seating both inside and outside.

You like it or you don't like it. If you are a fan of modern art you feel at home and you will enjoy the creativity of the last century artist. Your mind has to be wide open for new idea's otherwise it is rubbisch....More

I agree with the answer of Mark Daem. Fact is that there are few restaurants in the vicinity. But there are many (very) good restaurants in town and connections are very good. Good luck !
