In Ghent's heart, where shadows dance,
Lies the Masons' Guild Hall, cloaked in dark manse.
A relic of time, under the moon's trance,
In Flatland, it holds its stance.

Carved by masons, lost in time's expanse,
Its allure, a darkened, mysterious glance.
A symbol of secrets, in stone's cold prance,
The Masons' Guild Hall, in darkness, enchants.

This is one of the most charming houses in Ghent because of the decorations on the rooftop. It is whimsical, lovely, and very harmonious with the other canal houses in town. Very photogenic.

One of the most picturesque buildings in Ghent. It surprised me as we turned the corner because of the metal decoration up on top. You will definitely want to take a photo.

Intriguing and outstanding building near the Cathedral. Very detailed sculptures at the roof, and amazing details all around.

Yet another stunning Ghent building, this time topped with magnificent sculptures.
It's situated on the left hand side of the road as you walk down to St>michaels bridge.

Lovely architecture. We only saw from the outside. It is along a strip of canal with many notable buildings, boat rides, bars. Lively area.

The original 16th century Mason's Guild Hall is one of the most lively of Ghent's many interesting buildings with the sculptures of dancers on top of it, bring life and amusement to the street.

At the side is a modern extension, which is fairly minimalist and respects the facade of the old building
