Great views of the main square from the top. I am not a fan of winding steps but the exhibitions on each level broke the walk up nicely. There is a hand rail for most of the journey up. I actually much preferred this to...More

A little costly, but worth it. We opted to take the stairs which was a great workout. Probably one of the best vantage points in all of Ghent!

An informative tour. However, at €8 it’s a bit pricey. You can walk the steps up the bell tower or you can take the lift. There are a number of stops on the way up to the top to learn about the tower and it’s...More

I will not coment on the view as it is undescribable. The belfry also offers an insight to the history of Ghent and the lifestyle of its residents. If you are looking for a spot to take photos from then look no further...and give yourself...More

You ride an elevator. At the top each side has a narrow outdoor walkway with great views. A lower level shows the gear system that rings the bells. Be sure to watch how that works at one of the 15 minute intervals.

This is definitely a must place to visit. It has a great wow factor. The views from the top of the belfry are outstanding. Going to the top is an experience. You walk up to the first floor then take the lift to third floor....More

The Belfry is a very interesting stop when in Gent. If the day is clear, it provides amazing views of the city. There is an elevator that takes you to the top.

Very cool to see all the layers of the tower and some info on how bells are made and tuned. I loved the history of the area and the view from the top even though the weather was sucky.
