Cool setting, decent beer

One of the few real tourist traps in Ghent. A shame. The beer is not brewed there, but they try to give you the impression they do..all tho anyone with a bit of decent knowledge of beer knows it's not possible it's made there. It's a shame to treat people like stupid. Next to that the beer isn't even good:... More

We were recommended this place by friends whilst attending the music festival. The interior is a bit rustic with a few tables and chairs inside and seating outside. The brewery uses herbs and spices instead of hops. I tried 4 of the five beers available which were all very good. However my favourite was the inferno at 9% a good... More

Local brewery in an industrial space next to the Baudelo-Park. Very cool interior - I heard they moved here from near Gravensteen a few weeks ago. The beer is nothing to write home about (and you can go to any bar and get better ones from Belgium), but who doesn't like supporting local breweries?

Recently moved to a new location (Rembert Dodoensdreef) and still a bit rustic, this place feels really comfortable. No real tour but the staff is more than happy to share information about the beer they make which is after an old non-hops recipe using herbs and spices instead. I highly recommend starting with a flight of the 5 different beers... More

Had a great visit here on a friend's stag weekend. The brewery had just moved in to new premises but even so it was great - less a tour than a well-informed chat from a multi-lingual guide, a quick look at the mash tuns and then plenty of their local beers, especially for the groom. It was laid back and... More

Cool interior design. Nice staff. We've only done tastings, no tour. Bar staff could tell us all about beers. Beers are very unique and tasty. Also not a beer that you can try in just any cafe/bar. Made the tasting more unique for us!

I think this maybe a temporary location or at least a new tap for the excellent no hop beer gruut. Offering blond, wit, brown on tap and some cheese and salami snacks this was a great start to the weekend in Ghent. Despite trying many other beers the blond remained my favourite Belgian beer . Can also buy merchandise and... More

The brewery is awaiting a new location, so this is an informal, sit down and be talked to brewery 'tour' in a sterile room. The 'guide' is knowledgeable and talks you through their brewing process and history, pointing out the bits of machinery they use (which are on display). You get a sample of 3 of the 5 beers they... Randomly ran into this place when strolling through Ghent. A bit out of the way, but has pretty good beer.

Good Ghent made beer, if limited selection. 3 people had 1 blond, one Amber, and 1 special. Ate tasty stockerij and vol au vent, with enormous sides of fries. There was a birthday party occupying the whole first floor so we are on a balcony, which was fine. Good pub grub and beer!
