We bought some souvenirs along this street as there are some attractive little stores here. And you will also find cafes and restaurants. You will be in the middle of commerce as well as culture.

Lots of shopping along this street. We love how you can stroll the street without a car or cab and buy what you want and then hop on the tram. Good way to live.

Langemunt (Shopping Street) is a busy area of Ghent. You can find many shops and spend some time here while walking.

There were a few neat shops all up and down the street, and it was kinda busy. Nothing really amazing, but decent shopping options.

Nice shopping area, pedestrianised and really packed with all sorts of shops. Good way to kill a couple of hours.

This is just another shopping street and is anchored at one end by a large Primark store which is manic inside. The street was having work done about half way along when we visited which caused a bit of a pedestrian and cyclist bottle neck. It has a grubby feel about it and detracts from the main tourist areas and architecture. The far end is home to the large red cannon in the corner on the left and round to the right is the large open square of Vrijdag Markt.

Since Primark came here the street has become very busy. But if that is a good thing? Once you had nice boutiques here. Now you have Primark, Zeeman and some other shops with cheap stuff. Let's say it's a way to go from the Korenmarkt to the Friday Market.

Once a shopping street where you could find some nice boutiques and shops...now more a cheap shop street. Does not mean the shops or things are bad but dont expect exclusive things here. A street that connects tow major squares so Always alot of pedestrians here.

Hosts Primark, which says all about the general type of shop one finds here. Car free however and connect the Graslei with the Vrijdagmarkt.
