Very well laid out. Covered the artist's whole life and works. English was available via audio guide but only for selected works. I would recommend at least 2 hours to go through the museum. Not suitable for children due to a lot of graphic drawings.
This is a very interesting museum with a lot of information about an artist that was previously unknown to me.
Entry was very cheap.
It's a little hard to find due to the construction going on in the street.
Rops was a wizard who used skeletons, bones, masks and genitals to show his despise to society and to the powers that were. The exposition of Ensor and Rops showed very well that Ensor owes a lot to Rops.

The museums is very nice, will take around 1 hour and half to see the numerous pieces on the walls. if you like already Rops, you will love it. if you don't know his art, you will start to like it right here.
The museum celebrates the life of Namur artist, satirist and general good time boy Felicien Rops. I knew nothing about him before a random stop at this town during a longer journey but was so glad we investigated this place.

Nice little museum dedicated to felicien rops somewhere hidden in those little streets of namur. Excellent staff at the entrance who helped us in fluent Dutch. We visited the interesting collection with audio guide,spent 1h and half and it never got boring.it was excellent.

The easiest way to arrive in Namur is by train. There are two trains every hour from Brussels to Namur (Brussels Midi every hour .03 and .33, Central station .07 and .37, Brussels Nord .13 and .43). From Brussels Nord it takes about 1 hour to arrive at Namur. From the train station in Namur it's a 10 minute walk to the museum. The tourist information office is in de train station.
