Surprised people say this is a tourist trap—sure, it’s a historic spot which is near the tourist zone so I’m sure gets its share. But we stopped by in the middle of the week early evening and it was filled with locals coming in from...More

A pleasant, casual place that has been owned by the same family for years! It's a nice place for a drink or a snack, just to sit back and watch the crowd. We visit this place every time we are in Brussels!

In Brussels it is must to go after dinner to Mort Subite to take one for the road. Atmosphere is great as well as Belgium beers.

We loved our visit to A La Mort Subite. As you enter, you can feel the history of all of the visitors. I really liked the atmosphere and loved our beers. My favorite was the Pecheresse, a delicious Peach Lambic.

Lots of beers to choose from, friendly staff and a lovely venue. If you visit, try the peach beer they have on draught - it's very tasty.

Our hotel recommended this beer for it's selection of beers. Being a newbee to Belgian beers I appreciated the descriptions on the menu. The service was polite and professional. We enjoyed our time at this pub.

Great location, old and nice environment, nice staff and most importantly great selection of beer at very home next prices. For me it is a must stop each time I am in the city.
