Only a few minutes walk from the central station is this wonderful place. Original atmosphere of a cafe, bar, offering a wide variety of beers. It is a drinking and talking place that has to be part of your Brussel itinerary.

The Mort Subite, is one of Brussels oldest bars. The Mort Subite Geuze is served at room temperature, and is something to be savoured.

We love to go to this bar for its old fashioned ambience & Belgian feel. They serve light snacks ....omelettes, croques, bread, ham, cheese etc. I just wish the seating was more comfortable then we'd visit more often.

Large selection of beers served at the historical must-visit pub. The beers are a bit more expensive than usually (around 5eur for one beer), but you are paying for the location and atmosphere. They offer various types of omelettes, sandwiches and cold plates. We have...More

I was a bit disappointed, having last visited about 15 years ago, that the beer menu has shrank and they no longer serve the plates of cheese and salami that so added to the beer experience the last time I was there. It was also...More

Wide selection of great Belgian beers, and the food we had there was nice and "plain" nothing fancy, just good food. Very charming old bar room, and nice waiters.
