Beautifull,it was the firs historical place to see since we arrived.its open for you to go in.surronded by park and plenty cafe shops and restaurants so you vlcan choose were to sit.its not abbandoned,you can see that is been keept and preserved.

Really cool Medieval collection. Gives you a sense of what Brussels used to be like and how it has changed over time. Wonderful views from the top. Many learning areas for kids. One to 1.5 hrs is all that is needed to see everything

One has to pay for entrance but there are very few exhibits to justify the entrance fee. Views from the very top are good though.
