Very Giant

A giant, majestic place to see! Stop by it to take in it's size if you happen to walk through the park. I also loved the landscaping!

Really nice place, and interesting history! But the traffic on it makes it a bit loud and not comfortable... I was lucky to be able to hear the street musicians playing between cars and busses.

Okay the place is free, okay it is a royal residence. All the place that opens to the public is a royal chapel, and the bar to the altar where the cross is was open, so I walked a few stairs and wanted to have a good look. Just as I stepped onto the altar, there is an old woman... More

Only less than 1/8 of the palace is open to the public when the king is away, but still it is amazing that he does that to the tourists (don't know if any other royal family do that.. ) I was awed by the feeling of visiting a palace where the current monach is living. It is as if all roads lead to Grand Place since, when I was in Brussels, I walked around and kept ending up there. It is a large square with dominant buildings surrounding. I was lucky enough to see the square in its "celebration outfit" since there was some kind of festival with colourful projectors lighting the buildings and creating... More
