Quite fantastic place with a chance to feel like you are visiting the van Buuren's rather than the usual museum 'behind a rope' experience. My tip look at the very clever animated film that plays upstairs to learn about David and Alice and then take...More

One of the rare art deco houses in Brussels. Total concept of exterior, interior and garden. The interior of the house is an exquisite combination of luxurious materials and Fine Arts. The carpets of Jaap Gidding, the piano that once belonged to Erik Satie, the...More

Printed information led us to believe that this was a great example of Art Deco. That may be but I've seem better examples. Part of the problem was that this was a private home that still had all the family artifacts displayed - thus distracting...More

We only visited the gardens. We were interested in visiting the maze but it is quite small and not so great as some opinions say. The rest of the garden of not interest at all. Not worthy.

A little out of Brussels centre, this house is totally complete in the original Art Deco style from the house & furniture to the gardens. The whole place can be visited and is in excellent condition

Recommended by a family member we visited this absolute hidden delight on a damp February afternoon. We were not diappointed. It was so intimate a venue and so beautifully decorated that it left both of us speechless. I doubt if it is possible to find...More

The exterior appearance wouldn't make you think so, but inside you will find an Art Deco gem. You can visit the entire ground floor and the study and studio on the upper flower. Bedrooms are not accessible. There is quite a huge garden that can...More
