One of the interesting things we found within the Lower Town were two segments of the original First Wall which served as the city fortifications during the 13th century. As the city expanded beyond the First Wall, a Second Wall was constructed from the middle...More

It's incredible being here with the massive Xmas tree. The building re well maintained and each one has it's own bit of history. There's various food shops around which are a must. Would highly recommend going here.

For us this is the best place to stay when visiting Brussels, cheap eateries everywhere (our fave are the kepap shops). So much to see and do, all fairly close together. And very walking friendly.

A lot of the big monuments on one square. Incredible view from every point. Amazed by the size. Wear comfy shoes, painful to walk on the uneven stones.

This is generally the city centre with the Gran Place as the main tourist attraction. You can't miss it while visiting.
