Truly breathtaking when approached via one of the many narrow alleys that lead to it. It is worth sitting down and soaking it all in. Have a guide book handy so you can read about all the different guild halls

The grand-place is a really place to walk around to see that beautiful and unique arquiteture! That are lots of stores and restaurants around, and places to by souvenirs. It's a beautiful place, for sure!

Expect a lot of tourists with selfie sticks. Best to avoid all the bars and restaurants here, as they will set you back a lot of euros.

Not really but we stayed at The Augustin and were very happy. Their rooms are huge so maybe they have a double room. Don't know what your itinerary is but I highly recommend Bruges and/or Gent and Sandemans free walking tour... More
