You really need several hours to view and study the paintings of Magritte, a surrealist artist with quite an imagination. The museum has three floors, start at the top to work your way down. An audio guide makes the visit much more interactive. .

The collection includes Magritte's studies, notes, sketches, paintings and sculptures. This museum, as well as...More

Although this museum does not have Magritte's most famous pieces, it remains a three-floor museum with many of his works. I really appreciated the insight into his life and mostly into his way of working - his sketches explaining how to play on words and...More

What makes this museum wonderful is the insight into the artist and what influenced his work. The audio guide provides context and commentary on numerous pieces. The collection is vast and the art is fantastic, spanning a few different styles.
