Visited here and it was very inexpensive and a decent quality museum. Much more interactive and informative than other museums about the city of Brussels.

Not free as some have said, but only cost around €10 for our family of 4. Very quiet on a Saturday in September (we were basically the only ones there, but interesting history of Belgium and some fun activities for the kids.

Excellent museum that have diverse options for all family members. I recommend it for every traveller in Brussels, especially if you are tight on time and like to see as much on little time.
