The site was clearly not looked after, the outside of the entrance was dirty with old litter lying around. The pictures used to portray Napoleon and Wellington had obviously been taken over some weekend and bore absolutely no resemblance to the commanders It needs someone...More

Really good Museum, setting the scene for the battle and the visit to the battlefield itself. Plenty of original artefacts from those nights giving the public the opportunity to visit the room where Wellington slept and Uxbridge had his leg amputated.

This is a small museum and takes less than an hour to look around but it is by far the best way to get an understanding of the battle and how it was fought. The museum is in an old house which has uneven floor...More

It was a great visit. The house is well maintained, where you get to see how they actually lived. with some of their belongings, in addition to the artifacts from that era itself. It was good know to know the history behind that battle, some...More

This little museum does a great job of recounting the very narrow period in which the battle took place, and the buildup in the few days immediately preceding it. With a range of interesting and impressive exhibits - armour, uniforms, weapons, letters, diaries, and so...More

Museum is slightly boring, but serves as a good introduction when you go to see the battlefield of Waterloo.

The exhibits are complimented by a very detailed audio headset which is included in the price and is available in several languages. Genuine period articles, weaponry, clothing (Many owned...More

Thinking of visiting this in September with our friends. Is there a car park big enough to park two motorhomes in and no height restrictions?
