This is a beautiful park and at the time of our visit there was a rose festival and a Victorian festival, with lots of people wearing splendid Victorian attire. As a result, the park was thronged with visitors and there was a lovely summery atmosphere....More

This is an ideal park to relax and meditate..... Among the many, many gorgeous roses, in all kinds of colours.... And they are really growing around those arches, as shown.... So marvellous to picnic even, this lovely park and.... to sunbathe while taking a nap!!!!...More

The park is close to the center of Mechelen. It is THE place to appreciate swamp vegetation and watery ecosystems. However the park is better known for roses, and many of them. Rare and strange varieties are grown in a special area within the park....More

A very lovely parc on the outskirts of Mechelen. Free parking space, but not a lot... A lot of hiking paths, a lot of variety: ponds, bridges, beehotel, lounch chairs, benches, ... One of the nicest we've been to in Belgium.
