On the cathedral and I believe it represents the architects and builders that constructed the cathedral. Nice sculpture but sometimes there are street performers using it.

You will probably walk by this original group of bronze statues on your way to visit the cathedral, without even noticing it. The four men will eternally continue to construct the church (that in effect took over 170 years to build: from 1352 till 1521)....More

These statues depict the men who were the original stonemasons of the Cathedral and are a good feature to sit alongside it.

I like it when sometimes a living statue is among the stone statues. Especially with small children around.

Statues built to commemorate the architect and builders of the Cathedral. Nice gesture but it was simply 'statue-overload' by the time I reached this location from Central Station via Meir and having another living statue on standby kills it for me.

This is right outside the main entrance at the Square. There are a couple of people begging here so it makes viewing difficult. Tastefully done and well worth a look.

While waiting for my turn to enter the Cathedral, I saw these sculptures, I took several pictures and learned later that they are the Pieter Appelman's Statue. Constructions are going on the area so most tourists are not paying attention to this attraction. What a...More
