Asbestos has been found adding several months to the planning. As others said: A lot of paintings are on display in other city museums. I'm shure it will be fantastic when it opens again.

At the moment the museum is closed and some of the collections you can see in the Fabiolazaal in the Jezusstraat which is a street next to the shopping street Meir-De Keyserlei

I didn't go in - it is closed for renovation until end 2017. Some of their paintings are on display in the Cathedral (as at Oct 2013) but very few, and all related to the theme of religion.
