Het Steen can be found on the east bank of the river and is a small but very attractive castle. It is not far to reach here from the main touristy streets of Antwerp so it's well worth stopping by and having a look inside.

The castle was under renovation during our visit so we were unable to see it, but what we could see looked lovely.

Completely fenced. It is under renovation. Could not actually see anything extensive. May be something to see when completed, but that will be quite some time.

At the borders of the river Schelde, right in the middle of town. Enjoy the scenery and travel way back in time visiting Het Sten .

The castle was closed when we visited Antwerp in July 2018- it’s impossible to make a real review. But seen from the outside it looks like a castle that Walt Disney could have drawn on a quiet day. Take a couple of photos and move...More

Unfortunately this castle was closed for renovation but you can walk around it which is nice. There is a lot of history behind this castle which is fascinating. It's also along the river near the port which is interesting to look at too.
