If you like art and you like Rubens, this is the place to come. Great collection including some of the artist's greatest masterpieces. Non-art enthusiasts should also come here for some interesting education from the enthusiastic curators.

Rubenns house takes you back in time, it is a wonderfull example of the time, the interior is fantastic. And then the paintings, good for any woman's self esteem.

Think of this as a two-fer: an art gallery and a chance to tour the home of a master artist. The home itself is stunning, as are the gardens, and the free booklet, along with signage, does an excellent job of explaining what it is...More

First saw some of Rubens paintings in the cathedral and this inspired us to visit his house. A great visit, with a lot of information and paintings! Was very excited because the painting once owned by David Bowie is now there after being returned. Would...More

We visited on Sunday 9th July and were impressed by the house and the information given about the exhibits. The only minus for us, was we did not find any Rubens pictures of large ladies for which he has a reputation.

Nicely preserved house of the famous painter. Some of his works are here on display, but it is not a gallery per se. A painting by Tintoretto, previous owned by David Bowie, has been loaned to the house and hangs on the wall.

Rubenshuis as the name suggests is the actual house Peter Rubens liked in during his life. As if it wasn't enough just to visit the house of this great Flemish master, the museum contains many works of art by Rubens himself, plus works by other...More

Differently from the Rembrandt house in Amsterdam, this little museum is really interesting and genuine. The master works of the Artist have been scattered all over the best museums of the world. There is almost nothing from him in the house, but there is a...More

Hello! As far as I remember, the whole house was accessible (in april of 2016). A bit of advise here: it is expensive and a very crowd attraction. If you want to see the actual paintings, better go to some art museum. If... More
