If you, like me, have never stopped to think about the importance of printing, then this gem of a museum will completely change your perception and make you realise how the printing of words and images on a commercial scale was key to the age of learning and discovery in 17th century Europe. This was the internet of its day... More

Amazing place that showcases a family home and workshops under one roof. Excellent way to learn about the art of printing and book binding,

Clearly a place targeting young people without babies - this place is neither stroller friendly not wheelchair friendly. It is really interesting for a book aficionado - not really a books lover - but perhaps an artist or an illustrator who would like to see how publishing developed and evolved through the ages. They really have a superbly well-preserved printing... More

Fascinating history of printing publishong and typogtaphh. Wonderful for family groups and highly educational and informative for school groups. Unfortunately due to its historical construction it isn't brilliantly accessible on the higher floors but the ground floor and gardens have sufficient exhibits to also make a visit for the physically challenged thoroughly enjoyable.

Fantastic museum, great collection and very well exposed. Our 9 years old have spend 4 hrs inside, enjoying discovering history of cartography in Belgium. You'll need at least several hours to explore its rich collection.

Did as part of a tour group. Our stay was short but I don't feel like I missed much. We saw a couple of rooms of the family part of the building and a couple of rooms of the printing rooms.

Went to explore the old printing presses and learn more about the publication of literature in times gone by but there is so much more to the exhibits and the Museum. As well as being a business it was also a family home. So much history and politics involved in the printing venture here makes for a fascinating tour. The... More

Much to be learned in this museum about printing and book binding. Beautiful home that also included the business.
