An absolute 'must see' in Antwerp. The cathedral-like interior is breathtaking. And very clever new solution to solve increasing train and passengers - dig down and stack the new platforms and trains on top of each other!

Beautifully restored train station with some shops. When in Antwerp don't miss this architectural splendor.

My first visit to Antwerp in years. I was amazed at this station. Trains are on four levels! You have to see it to believe it. All housed in a beautiful building.

Arrived here from the Eurostar train from Brussels, ts a great looking building from the inside as well as the outside. Plenty of local Taxi's outside to take you to your location. As not a native speaker I found my way around OK, hopefully will be the same on my return journey!!

Rated as the number four of the world's most beautiful railway stations one should go and look around. A few decades ago the whole builging nearly collapsed but in the meantime it has been renovated and became one of the jewels in the crown of Antwerp. One can compare the inner structure with the Roman Pantheon: a base, all be... More

This is simply one of the most beautiful stations I have ever been in the world. High Gothic stone entrance and ceiling. Amazing ambiance and the station itself is clean and very functional. Trains always ran on time too!

Worth popping in if you appreciate architecture. We liked it. Near the zoo if that is where you are headed.

In the Chocolate Box episode, Hercule Poirot and Chief Inspector Japp arrive at a railway station that is supposed to be in Brussels. I instantly admired the station I saw in the film. Later, I realised that this station is actually in Antwerp. It has a majestic architecture and a lovely design. My 'little grey cells' were delighted with the... More

Magnificient building dated end 18th century and very well preserved. Interior hal floor is a mix of fine, beautiful Italian marble tiles. Entrance staircase from main hal to rail tracks is mind blowing. In short: this is a unique rail road station building, most likely the most beautiful of the world and well worth to pay a visit and spend... More
