it is a poor sub urb of antwerp with no historical past. if you stay in antwerp do not waist your time and I would not endurse you to visit it

poor ex-industrial suburb of Antwerp . ancient location of shipyards and heavy industry. As today extinct, only the depressing surroundings remain.

Nothing special, a quiet place. There's this statue of a kid and his dog that figure in a tale of sorrow and hardship. That tale is very popular in Japan, and so the only tourists you're likely to see is Japanese...
