A small but deeply poignant museum with one of the best interactive audio visual films I have seen. Very powerful and many artefacts to see. English titten guides are available on request.

This museum has focus on WW2 and explains why the centre of Rotterdam is so beautiful and so modern. Central Rotterdam has taken the opportunity to become an amazing city in direct contrast to Amsterdam.

Had a quick visit to this WW2 museum late in the day. Very helpful staff who sent us straight into the audio-visual display so we didn't miss it. Very moving. There were headphones which we hoped would have an English translation of the commentary, but...More

Interesting museum for those who wants to know an important part of the history of Rotterdam and the Netherlands, with items, photographs, uniforms and videos from the Second World War and the Dutch resistance.

This is a superb little museum with many artifacts and an important story to tell. It is centred on Rotterdam and many of the key parts of the WW2 narrative are played out in and around the city, such as the German invasion, the defence...More
