It was beautiful , nice 5 days journey through the nature , history , rivers , gardens in rotterdam & the villages around . We had the chance to visit museum , historical landmarks like watermill seeing how it work & also we visit the city center with the very nice cube house & the varieties of shops & malls around the area . The only bad thing was the cost of car parking which was very expensive inside the city .. otherwise it was fantastic experience

A nice place to shop and chill in Rotterdam. Not much high end stores (phew!) It's either I didn't see any or I missed it. I don't care. I'm glad I was able to do a little shopping. Beautiful place.

It is basically the center of shopping. Public transportation stops at the Beurs. Form here you can easily go to central station or the other way to the markthal, Beurs is right in between. My favourite shops is Lush! I also really enjoy the small streets around it like Korte Hoogstraat. I am a local so I visit Beurs regularly.

Look if you're looking to shop somewhere there are much better places to go then the "Koopgoot". It's just so basic. Yeah you got you're HEMA's and a couple of shoe stores but there is nothing that really makes it stand out. Besides that it's on a lower level then the ground. If that sounds exciting it isn't.

This is a great place to shop with such a wide variety of stores. Anyone should easily find at least a handful of shops to suit their interests. Definitely check out HEMA if you've never been before. Also, check out Xenos if you're walking towards or are near Markthal: you can get great souvenirs/knick-knacks for great prices!

It could be any shopping street, but Beurstraverse unique feature is it goes underneath the main street. The stores are varied enough but most of them you can find in most European cities, if not the world - H&M, Mango, Body Shop, L'Occitane, Superdry etc. and flagship stores for Dutch retail brands such as HEMA, C&A and G-Star Raw. But what's convenient is, the street below has a mall/promenade-like atmosphere which makes it feel safe and comfortable. However, be careful on the street-level as the tram goes through in the middle of the street.
When we went there, there seems to be an ongoing sale as most shops we visited offered substantial discounts and were able to get good deals.

More popularly known as Koopgoot, this unique split-level shopping arcade runs under the busy Coolsingel street and connects to two of the city's main shopping streets, Lijnbaan and Hoogstraat. Lined with about 80 stores ranging from well-known global chains to cool pop-up stores, this shopping arcade and its surrounding area are indeed a shopper's haven. It's interesting to note that the stairs in Koopgoot are awkwardly clumsy - too wide to fit 1 step per step and too narrow for 2 steps per step - but they are designed this way for good reason, ie. to enable an ambulance to reach the sunken level. Talk about subtle architectural ingenuity!

A not very big shopping mall with not very special shops. If you have seen one, you've seen them all. But if you like shopping, enjoy. It looks nice if you forget the shops. Just one of the nice things to see in Rotterdam.

Yes, this is simply part of a normal street except there are no cars or bikes in the shopping area. Some stores can still refuse to allow your dog inside though.
