The town hall was burned in 1929. Only the magnificient façade is still intact. We stopped during our walk to enjoy this beautiful architecture.

It dominated the greater part of the area near the Rijn, It has a superb architectural design of a Dutch Renaissance with a tower elegant and tall. We just viewed it from the Stadhuisplein still i was awed by the massive dominance of the building.

This cathedral is massive and spreads out over a large city block in a horizontal direction. Looks great from the outside. Unlike other cathedrals, this one did not seem very inviting so I did not go inside.
