Located in the middle of Utrecht Science Park, this lovely educational garden is good place to wander around and enjoy the many different varieties of plants. Well worth a visit.

We had spent few hours in the Gardens. Former fort. Nice lake. Interesting plants. Some exhibitions including shelves filled with objects inducing sincere interest in pharmacologists.

Having lived in the Netherlands most of my life, I'd never visited the botanical gardens in Utrecht before. Safe to say it was a treat! The entrance fee is not expensive (compared to most sightseeing places in the Netherlands). Buying a drink and food however...More

Years the botanical gardens were the decor of a festival called "de Beschaving". A wonderfull place in the middle of the university buildings. Definately worth a stroll. The festival is no more, but this place is still worth a visit. Either you enjoy great scenery...More

I liked that the gardens were not too big, the paths were clearly marked and made sense so you wouldn't get lost. It was also nicely arranged into topics and types of plants. Worth a visit for a relaxing walk.
