Even with beautiful weather, when the Zandvoort beach is intensely crowded, the dunes are fantastic. You can walk here for hours and see only a couple of people. Incredible nature, lovely views.

Well kept and accessible by bike or walking. Free ranging cows, horses, frogs and snails to bee seen. And birds. Lots of them.

Although I live close to the dunes (Kijkduin, near The Hague), the 'Kennemer' dunes in the area between Haarlem and Zandvoort are way more impressive and beautiful for me. And since 2007 there is a another very good reason to visit de Kennemerduinen: in that...More

Went there solely for a walk and bid watching. Saw many families swimming, playing and sunbathing in the man-made lake. Saw not many birds, but the walk is nice. It would be better if the direction indication is better as sometimes the road is not...More

Well signed, lots of wildlife and easy cycling through the dune park. A great day out. Near the park entrances are some excellent stops for food and drink - we stopped in Overeens.

Enjoyed the many paved walking paths through the dunes. Take a few EU coins so you can open the entry gates. It was interesting seeing the micro climate and plants changed as you walked from the forest to the dunes.
