A lovely little sea side village with great seafood , very traditional Dutch. Plenty of restaurants and souvenir shops. The people are all so friendly.

Shouldn’t miss the opportunity to learn the history of Volendam and try their local costumes. The price of picture taking is also reasonable including the virtual tour.

We having a great time here. It was a small lovely fishing village. You can find fresh fish and chips here. The sorvenir shop are cheaper, especially shirt, key chain, magnet etc..We walk around the sea side, enjoy the beautiful view surrounding.

Yes, there is a bus, you can check the information if you google: oldhollandtour This is the tour my friend and I took, for EUR 12.50, and travelled on the route described there. Hope this helps! Have a nice stay!

In Holland, Xmas Eve is much like a normal working day. For sure the hotels and cafes will be open
