Having York Minster within walking distance from "home" its nice to have a look at other churches occasionally. Only about 5 Euro for two of us to enter, it was cold outside when we visited but the vast interior was even colder. The striking blue...More

Went by this church because I had read of it in The Hiding Place and just wanted to see some of the same sights that were mentioned in the book. Beautifully made and with lots of history.

What a beautiful cathedral! Can't believe I didn't step in all these years while visiting Haarlem. The interiors are very impressive in size, artistry and upkeep. Painted glass windows add to the effects and quite unique. The entrance is very nominal which makes this a...More

This church has some cool history, so it's worth a peak. The entrance fee is less the 3Euro per persone, and the organ is beautiful. It was played by both Mozart and Handel, so very cool to see it. The church is right next to...More

A beautiful former Catholic church which was rudely destroyed inside during the iconoclastic fury in the 16th century. It's now a cold without soul protestant building.

Very nice service in a beautiful cathedral located in the center of Haarlem The ceiling is very impressive so don't forget to look up when visiting. Knowing that famous people for example Mozart have played the pipe organ makes it extra special.

the majesty of the cathedral is felt as soon as you enter. The organ, on which Mozart once played emits a grand sound. There is a minimal entrance fee, well worth the price.

The organist was practicing while we are visiting - that was beautiful. Just 2.50 per person for the entry and the info sheet was helpful. I tried to imagine coming here every Sunday for service - quite a different experience for me as we are...More

Entering the church is €2.50 a person, which you can pay at the desk at the entrance. You won't have to pay extra to see the concert.
