We really enjoy staying just off the Grote Markt. Lovely cafe on the centre - Brinkmann. Also Tourist Information Centre right in the centre and easily accessible. Shame we weren't here on Market Day.

The big market is nice to come. Sitting at one of the terras or see the old Haarlem around you. I come there often and it is never boring.

We were here in the rain but it is still quite lovely. I would recommend taking a stroll around the Church of St. Bavo in the square. Lots of good eateries!

An enjoyable time was spent wandering around the Grote Market---just a bout all kinds of food to sample & buy Fish, cheese & meats. Also, lots of local Dutch delicacies. Don't miss it, & take good walking shoes
